Couldnโ€™t Be More Perfect

I had congee at McDonald’s here in Suzhou. Unbelievably surprising! I never knew or heard of McDonald’s serving congee before.

Until I met you, Suzhou! ๐Ÿ˜

Suzhou. Suzhou. Suzhou! You know it doesn’t take much to make me happy! ๐Ÿ˜Š

This day couldn’t be more perfect!

Looking forward to enjoying our time together!

Itโ€™s Never Too Late, Right?

I’ve always wanted to learn how to play the piano, but I just didn’t get a chance to do so when I was younger.

As I welcome this new year (and new decade), I decided that I should at least give it a try this time to learn how to play the piano. I believe it’s never too late to learn a new skill, is it? ๐Ÿ˜

So one afternoon last week, I asked my friend to teach me how to play some chords. Today, I started playing on my own using a friend’s keyboard that I borrowed so I could practice during the winter break.

Music has always been one of my passions. I can play the guitar now but there’s more I still need to learn, especially how to play the more difficult, complicated chords. So now that I’ve decided to start learning how to play the piano (alongside learning how to speak and read Chinese), I know I need to be more intentional in allotting time to practice so I could get better at these skills.

If you’re into music and playing instruments yourself, any tips are welcome! Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜Š
