The Perks of Being a Teacher

This picture was taken in Qingdao, China last June 26, 2017.

Many people, particularly most of my students, would not consider teaching to be their occupation (income wise), but I’m happy and satisfied that I am a teacher because I get to do the things I love doing, like traveling and exploring new places.

One of the perks of being a teacher here in China is that you get long breaks – winter break and summer break. So if you have saved enough money, you’ll be able to go places.

I may not earn as much as others do, but I am satisfied with what I have and what I can do with the “little” (according to my students) I get. πŸ™‚ πŸ˜‰

A dreamer. A wanderer. A teacher/learner. A daughter. A sister. A friend. And a sinner saved by grace through faith. πŸ˜‰
